The mountain summer in the Schladming-Dachstein Region is one thing above all. VERSATILE. The offer expands from summer to summer. Hiking, cycling, swimming, climbing, lingering, adventure, mountain go-karts, zipline, ... As a partner of the Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard, our guests enjoy all the benefits such as free entry to swimming pools, a daily ascent and descent with a cable car, children's programme and many discounts.
When you are at the foot of the Planai, every climbing and hiking door is open to you! And with the Sommercard in hand, you can get around the entire Schladming-Dachstein Land: the gondola takes you up the mountain for free in summer with the Sommercard. The Planai is a good choice here, from where you can go on many beautiful hikes from the middle station or top station. The hike to the Krahbergzinken is a real highlight. Also discover the neighbouring mountains, the Hauser Kaibling, the Hochwurzen and the Reiteralm. Ramsau is also popular for hikes around the Dachstein. There you will also find great via ferratas.
Biking and the Planai simply belong together! Our location is ideal for cycling up the Planai road directly from the house. Or you can cycle to the bike park at the Planai valley station in just 4 minutes. Many downhill routes and cool trails await you there. If you want more, explore the region on an e-bike and expand your radius: Hochwurzen, Forstau, Ramsau and Filzmoos. The new cycling trend, gravel biking, is also ideally suited to our region. Here you will find all trails for all types of bikes at a glance.
Dive in and dive out. When summer is here, there is nothing better than cooling off in the water after a day on the mountain. If you are looking for the shortest way into the water, you will find it in a few minutes by car in the Schladming adventure pool. The outdoor swimming pool in Haus/Ennstal is heated and especially recommended because it is quite small and has a great slide for young and old. The Aicher and Pichler lakes are also in the immediate vicinity. The Ramsau Beach at the Rittisberg offers a special swimming experience in the mountains. Even though the Ramsau adventure pool only has an indoor area, the Auqa Track, a course in the water, is a good reason to visit.
If you're looking for a thrill, you've come to the right place on a mountain go-kart on the Hochwurzen. After an ascent with the gondola, you go straight down to the valley on the toboggan run. There's plenty of speed and action here. Another tip is the zipline on the Stoderzinken. This is not for people with a fear of heights. Sitting in a flying harness, you are attached to a steel cable and glide down into the valley.
Rafting and canyoning on the Enns is pure thrill. Here again, there are tours suitable for every level of difficulty, and since you get wet anyway, it is also well suited as a rainy weather programme.
